We took a week interviewing 10 different landscape specialists on the features of a proper paving mould.
They all seemed to agree on specific points. We then used this information to find the 8 best paving moulds available on the market.
We immediately liked the different sizes and patterns of the Walk Maker Mould path maker mould.
This made it possible to find the right angle when moving onto a corner. Second, we enjoyed that it was a fairly easy to use tool requiring very little expertise to work with.
The pattern created a neat and stylish path that broke the monotony of the green background.
And when we were done with using the Walk Maker Mould 17×17 inch path maker mould, we found that it was super easy to clean and store away ready for the next time we needed to use it.
However, there were a few drawbacks. It’s not the best size for large pathways.
We noted that unless we were using two of these, it would take a very long time to finish the task. Also, the material construction is not the most durable and could break under too much pressure.
We were instantly taken by the design and shape of the SK Greena crazy paving mould which resulted in a beautiful pathway.
Similar to the Walk Maker Mould, this is also a simple to use tool.
We also liked that the patterns interlock which meant that we couldn’t notice where the shapes break off.
Every section blended neatly with the next. This is also a versatile tool that provided 4 different styles that you can choose from all in a single template. And unlike the Kenley, this one is quite durable.
What we didn’t like with the SK Greena is that it comes in a small size.
To complete work quickly, we noticed that we needed two. Also, when laying the two moulds side by side, it resulted in larger spaces between the joints.
It resulted in neat and regular patterns that created a feeling of order and symmetry.
We also liked how simple it was to lay the path. The previous setting combined perfectly with the next resulting in one single row of well laid blocks.
By using different color blocks, we found that we could further enhance the appeal of the path.
On the downside, we did notice two main issues with the Malaya’s plastic path maker.
It had a warp which gave us a few issues with the leveling. Second, the size wasn’t the largest which means that we needed to use more than one to complete the task quicker.
The WOVTE walk maker is made from special durable plastic.
We enjoyed this as it didn’t come with some of the quirks of metal moulds. This also made it simple to use and simple to clean once the job was complete.
Another thing that we liked with the WOVTE walk maker is the beautifully laid out patterns.
They came in different sizes and shapes which served to break the monotony. The previous pattern combined seamlessly with the next whether front to back or side to side.
However, like the Malaya’s plastic maker, this was also small sized. To make any significant progress within a short time, we had to use more than one mould.
We also noticed that the spacing between two moulds was a bit large compared to if we were using a single mould.
Similar to the Malayas path maker, this concrete walk maker mould features rectangular shapes.
We liked how it created a neat and well aligned pathway resulting in a feeling of order.
The Plastic Mould path maker was also very simple to use. The patterns laid well with the next and we liked that we could hardly notice any break in the layout.
Once the job was complete, cleaning the path maker was simple. All we needed to do was to splash water on it with a garden hose.
We also liked that this paving mould was made from a durable plastic.
It was lightweight yet was able to hold its own against the concrete and didn’t deform in any way.
On the downside however, we noticed that while the Yosoo Paving brick path maker was a bit larger than the Kenley path maker mould, we still needed to make use of more than one of this to be able to make any significant progress.
Unlike the Yosoo paving brick path maker mould that comes with rectangular shapes, the COM4SPORT features a hexagonal design which we found quite attractive.
It is also made from a high-quality resin that is both lightweight and durable. We found that it held well to the pressure from the concrete.
This path maker was simple to use and any one could actually use it effectively.
And we especially liked that we could use it on any side of the pathway and it would still blend in perfectly with the pattern. Cleaning the mould was an easy task as well.
However, measuring just 11.4 x11.4 inches, this was by no means a large mould which is something that we didn’t enjoy. It took a lot of time to complete the project while using this mould on its own.
Like the COM4SPORT, we liked that the TOPmountain concrete mould came with hexagonal design. however, it takes things a step further by coming in 3 pieces.
This means that we were able to complete work with 3 times more speed which is more than we can say for the COM4SPORT
We also enjoyed how simple it was to use the mould. It is versatile and it was possible for us to continue the path from any position whether front or side.
There was little to no difference in the space between the patterns which created one even pattern.
Created form a special resin, the Kicode TOPmountain Paths was very lightweight yet durable.
The main drawback however was the size of each mould. At only 30cm by 30 cm it is quite small.
What we immediately liked about the forever speed concrete paving mould is the lightweight frame.
This made things extremely easy and using the mould required very little expertise. In fact, the only knowledge needed was how to mix the concrete.
The light weight was courtesy of the plastic frame which was very sturdy. We also liked the different size blocks as well as the different shapes.
This created a natural feel of the pavement compared to the rectangular machine cut looking blocks of other models.
At 42.5x 42.5 cm, we also liked the size as it was bigger than the COM4SPORT.
However, when we wanted to use two of these to make the job go faster, we noticed that it doesn’t blend perfectly especially when the two are placed side by side.

This is unlike using bricks of paving stones where you can simply remove one stone and put another in its place.
Concrete walk maker moulds need to first of all be stable.

The Walk Maker Mould 17 x 17 is the best stepping stone mould.
It features a 9 stone pattern that can work well on any path and can be used on curved edges.
The plastic path maker mould 40x40cm paving concrete stepping stone mould is the best mould for casting concrete.
It helps create a more exotic and neatly arranged pathway courtesy of its square angles.
Walk way mounds could be constructed from a heavy-duty plastic. These are also simple to clean.
However, there are models that are made from metal.

It offers complete sealing capability and keeps out oil, dirt and other materials that could mess the look of your pavement.
In the end, there is really no special expertise that one needs when using concrete walk maker moulds.
If you know how to mix concrete, then all that is required is to place the mould on the path and pour in concrete.
The shapes will produce the desired patterns and the path can be used once the concrete is dry.
