Traffic Swarm at trafficswarm.com

I signed up with traffic swarm and was very excited about the endless possibilities this traffic generator seemed to offer. The whole concept seemed perfect to me. You basically get paid a certain amount of credits or points to click around the Traffic Swarm website. It’s like getting virtual money that you use for your own advertising so your website will be displayed when others start clicking around trying to earn credits.

Yes, the Traffic Swarm system seemed perfect to me at first. These guys even set up an anti-cheat program that prevents people from getting hundreds of free credits without actually doing any real clicking. So now there is no way you can beat or cheat their system. There is even a timer that makes sure you are spending a certain amount of time on each of the other advertisers websites after you click on them. The system makes you wait 20 seconds before you can click again for more credits. If you click before the 20 seconds is up, then nothing happens. You can even see how many seconds have gone by with their built in count-down time displayed right on the same page.

I thought this was the greatest thing since sliced bread because I was clicking all around for hours trying to save up credits. And I assumed everyone else must be doing just like me. I figured their must be thousands or maybe hundreds of thousands of other people clicking on all these websites to save up credits to get more people to click on their own website.

But you know the old saying “If it seems to good to be true, then it probably is” And I think that old saying applies here. My excitement of Traffic Swarm is completely gone. After spending at least 60 hours clicking around their system to earn points I did manage to save a bunch of points. I first realized there was a problem when I stopped surfing and just decided to use all my points and see what kind of response rate I got from all the other people clicking on my website. So I put a tracking system on my url and website so I could accurately monitor the amount of clicks and the amount of customers Traffic Swarm would bring me. After all those ours of saving up those credits and watching them all get used up, I never got one single order from the Traffic Swarm visitors. Not one!

I even bought a couple thousand credits to see if I would get any kind of special attention or benefits since I was then a “Paid Pro Member” But nothing changed. Still zero orders coming from Traffic Swarm.

Why no orders? Well, in my opinion, the problem with the Traffic Swarm system is that all the members have their own website they are trying to promote. These people are not shoppers in my opinion. I think just about everyone participating in the Traffic Swarm system is an advertiser who is focused on advertising their own website.

I feel that these people rarely actually read the websites they are clicking on. Instead I think they just pay for credits. Oh, did I mention that you can pay the Traffic Swarm people for as many credits as you want. I think that’s their biggest problem. I think they had a good system, but then got greedy and allowed people to start paying for credits. I’m sure this must make the owners of Traffic Swarm a bloody fortune, but it does nothing but hurt the quality of your traffic in my opinion.

People using the Traffic Swarm system don’t have to look your website or any website if they just pay for their credits. Traffic Swarm users don’t even have to click anymore when they pay for credits up-front.

So I think that’s why I never got a single order from the traffic swarm system. Probably the only people that still click around to save up credits are the people that can’t afford to pay for credits. And if they can’t afford to pay for credits, then how can they afford to order your products or services?

I give Traffic Swarm a 1 on a scale from 1-10. I would not recommend this company.

I have had trouble logging in and have no response from traffics swarm and have sent over six e-mails to the company with no response. Now their link is this connected what’s going on with this company.

I’ve used Traffic Swarm for the past couple of years. I, too, noticed early on that the constant clicking netted me nothing beyond the fun of seeing other people’s sites. When you’re advertising among people doing the same exact thing, trying to get the same exact things (sales, traffic, exposure); it becomes like preaching to the choir. And don’t forget the ‘credit lottery’ where you spend your hard earned credits on the off chance of getting more credits to advertise to advertisers. When I’m online and I’m feeling bored, I use Traffic Swarm for entertainment; nothing more.

Not much success. Yes, I get the clicks to my site, but that’s about it. I personally got tired of clicking around trying to earn some credits. I paid for the credits, and… Traffic swarm isn’t that great, but it isn’t that bad for the beginners, who are still learning and exploring the internet marketing area…

    Hi Jason,
Thanks for the additional information, you are right on the mark with this one. My experience with Traffic Swarm is the exact. I also used a counter and none of the URLs I posted had the same count as Traffic swarm.

Also, their support is null, as soon as I run out my credits I’m through.
    Thanks Again!

I promote TS got 3 sign ups so its free also it works more when i focus on giving way something to get a lead mainly in traffic.

What works for one doesn’t always work others so if you are going you must promote etc.

Thank you for the info. I feel the same way. My store is getting lots of clicks but they are not looking at anything. I would really rather know that 3 interested people came to my store to actually look at my products than to see 89 visits that mean nothing.

Agree completely with above comments re lack of response from customer service and how boring it soon becomes just clicking to earn credits. Asked a question about whether bounce rate would affect traffic and site ratings but no response from TS.

I think the paid credits make them an awful lot of money!

I agree 100% The only way to get targeted traffic to your web site is hard work building back links.

  11. I agree with everyone on Traffic Swarm. If you got hours to kill and click on credits then have it but I don’t waste my time with it. I think traffic exchanges like this just produces “Empty Hits” or “Empty Traffic”.
I put my focus on people who have a need and then focus on that. I use several different marketing techniques for that. I tested it and traffic swarm is not not worth the time or money

  12. I also have a TrafficSwarm account but I doubt their system is working. I got puzzled if someone is really visiting my website so here’s what I did:

    1. I stopped other websites that I am promoting.

    2. I left one blog to run.

    3. I watched the traffic on my blog through the Feedjit widget installed on the sidebar.

However, I noticed that there was no traffic to the specific article that is activated in my TrafficSwarm account. But my credits was already used up?

So what conclusion have I made?

Your guess is as good as mine.

  13. I too joined Trafficswarm after it was recommended to me but now I cannot log in.

I did everything they suggested on their faq and still doesnt work.

I have tried 4 different machines in 4 different locations using 3 different browsers and get the same results.

That suggests that the problem is with Trafficswarm.

I tried sending them a support ticket and they closed it without response so their support system is none existant.

I am glad I did not upgrade which I was thinking of doing.

I first joined TS many years ago thinking i would get people looking at my website in the hope they would turn into paying customers, Not a thing, I recently logged in after reading on the web somewhere that they have a new look & new features, So i gave it another go for a while, They seemed to have changed the way the credit system works, Even if your website link is displayed but not clicked on, It still takes credits away, I also found (like before) that if you clicked on a link that you have done recently (not always highlighted), You don’t get any credits, I have to say that most of these types of sites give you nothing in return, Most have ‘i made a million pound last night & now i’m giving you my formula for free’ BS websites, Don’t waste your time or money with these sites.

With the new relauch of the Trafficswarm site, and new features built in, kinda seems that people above think it’s some magical pill. A well written and enticing ad will have visitors to it. And yes, why would they take credits away from people deciding to click on your ad…that’s a bonus. They will only take credits for showing your ad.
Plus on top of it, you can easily make money with referring others to Trafficswarm. And easy….especially in such a form like this.
It might not be a magical pill that everyone seems to want now days, but it’s a beginner’s site and an easy way to test ads to see what viewers want.
