To trust, or not to trust, Ed Bounds

Ah, Ed Bounds. The man famous for “how you can earn two hundred thousand dollars per year from your home,” does have some search results appear on Google for the man. However, it’s always sort of daunting when the man has two search results: “Ed Bounds” and “Ed Bounds scam.” Does that make you feel good about trusting him, or what?

Bounds’ first website, “executiveincomebiz,” seems to promise to help you make two hundred thousand dollars per year. However, the website above it, says that executiveincomebiz promises to help you make a hundred thousand dollars per year. Either way, it’s a pretty substantial amount. Can you make up that amount?

Executiveincomebiz is apparently a nineteen year old company, so if it’s been around for nineteen years, don’t you think that you might be able to trust it a little bit? Executiveincomnebiz seems to be a website that’s on the up-and-up. However, there are almost no reviews for this website, even though it’s been around for eighteen years. Weird.

A review Bounds says that he can help you make 1,000,000 online in five years. Wouldn’t that be just fantastic to make that much money? However – it’s apparent that this is probably a professionally done review; and not a review done by an individual. The review promises “honest, upfront information”, and “all [free] training that you need to be [good].”

It’s clear that Executiveincomebiz is one of those websites where you have to watch the videos and do the work. If you don’t do the work it’s clear that you won’t get those sort of results. It makes one wonder about what type of reviews they’re getting. At first the website seems to be done by a professional, but as you scroll down, it appears to be more done by a person. Either way, it promotes the business, gives out a phone number, and says you can trust the business.

However, other reviews, which are obviously done by real people, say that Bounds’ business is a scam. One person said they were scammed $500 by Bounds. According to the same person, even Bounds’ mother said Bounds isn’t to be trusted, and that if he scams you, most likely you aren’t going to get your money back, so it’s best not to trust Bounds.

I appreciate that you take the time and effort, I would assume to protect the public, however you should really do more research before judging someone’s character. Especially when you have never met, or even spoken with them personally.

I am the Ed Bounds a.k.a. The Success Coach, that you have been talking about in your article, and I wanted to set the record straight. My wife has been very ill for the past year, and I almost lost her. This is also why my website has been down, no time to keep up with it. However, that will soon change now that she is better.

As for my reputation, I have been helping thosands of people become successful entrepreneurs for many years. Anyone who really knows me, knows that I am a practicing Christian businessman and that I care for people dearly. Am I perfect, NO, but I can help people who want to do better in life.

As for the question of can you trust me?

Ask the people who have “actually worked with me”. Don’t take the word of someone who read something on the Internet, from a disgruntled individual who bought a product and did nothing with it to help themselves. Or worse someone who has never even met me.

I have “donated” thousands of hours and traveled around the world (at my own expense) to be available to speak and teach young entrepreneurs how to market themselves and their businesses on the Internet or in person, FREE OF CHARGE.

To date, I have never done a “paid” training or “paid” speaking engagement or even sold any of my training recordings. Although many people have asked me to buy them, to date, I have never marketed them. That does not mean I would not like to some day, but for now it has all been out of my own pocket to help people.

If you are still undecided whether or not you would like my help, I invite you to call me to have a personal chat, then you decide. My number is 979-260-6060. Please be professional about this, don’t waste either of our time. I welcome professional conversations. No selling, just honest, free, meaningful information.

Be aware when you call for my help, I am exactly who I say I am, not perfect, but a caring and very experienced business professional who enjoys helping people make money starting their own business. But you must be willing to work hard and “pay the price” that successful business owners must do.

Whether you want a buisness on the Internet, or traditional business, I possess a BBA in Business Administration, coupled with 35 years of successful entrepreneurial experience to offer.

Remember, nothing in life that is worth having, comes without a price, except of course the grace of God.

Thanks for letting me set the record straight

May your day be blessed and prosperous,

    Sincerely,

    Your partner in success,

    Ed,
You say that you are an honest businessman with Christian principles, but I know for a fact that you still owe me a refund of half of what I invested and you agreed to it. You know who I am. I have talked to you on the phone AND met you face to face. Granted, you gave me information freely, but you and I came to an agreement that you backed out of.

  3. Julie Martin says:

As someone who has personally been scammed by Ed Bounds…let ME set the record straight…

My name is Julie Martin…and Ed Bounds scammed me out of $500.00 last October (10/2011). I paid him a $500.00 RV deposit and he has yet to refund it. I recieved no RV rental and he never returned my deposit after promising to do so (I have his emails promising this). This guy comes off as a professional and someone who seems very trustworthy…THIS makes him the worst kind of SCAM ARTIST! One who is easy to trust! DO NOT TRUST ED BOUNDS WITH YOUR MONEY…HE WILL TAKE IT!!!

    I hope this helps!

    Sincerely,

    Julie Martin, Shreveport LA

If I may, I would like to address these claims personally. What you are doing is attacking my character and threateing my family’s way of life. If you believe everything you read on the Internet at first glance, you will be seriously mis lead in many cases. There is always the other side, or in this case the truth.

    Mark,

Let’s be honest with everyone here. You came to me for help,to start your own business. I was a distributor for a personal wealth and self company at the time. I worked with you countless hours, helping you develop your skils, so you could help your family have a better life.

I spent many hours on the phone with you both one on one, even while spending quality time with my family, I took your calls and answered your questions. I also held team conference calls at my expense. I gave you all of tools that “I” had created over the years, that helped me become successful(i.e. emails templates, website assitance, books and personal development material. (ALL FREE OF CHARGE)

You bought the company’s product, just like I did, which was a ticket to a conference with some of the world’s most influencial entrepreneurs. For whatever reason, you decided NOT to attend this powerful learning conference.

Then, when you were not seeing the success in a few short months, you quite trying and looked for someone to blame. You called me and said your wife lost her job, and you were panicking. You wanted your money back on the ticket you chose not to use. What company do you know would do that? Building a successful business takes years, not a few months.

If you had paid a business consultant to put in the hours I did to help you, it would have cost you over $20,000. Help me understand what gives you the right to attacke me, after sharing all of my knowledge for free?

When a business fails, you have to look in the mirror and take responsibility for your actions, not look for others to blame. You can respond with whatever you want after this post, but only you, God and I know the truth.

Please be respectful of my family by not attacking me further.I tried to help you, help your family when you came to me for help.

  5. Ed Bounds says:

    Julie,

I am sorry you feel the need to attack me publically. As you know, you are not sharing all of the facts. You paid for the rental of an RV, for specific days. The RV was reserved and waiting for you on those days. The rental agreement states you must request a refund in writing, which you never did, nor did you pick up the RV. You are free to claim whatever you want, and people are free to believe what they want. That’s what makes this country great. Please don’t bother to respond or attack my character further. You and I both know the truth.

  6. CleverOne says:

I used to work for this fat piece of shit, he is definitely a scam artist and a 2 faced dirt-bag.

He hides behind his bible, yet, this guy will screw you over so fast it will make your head spin, He also had a raging cocaine habit.

This scumbag was also charged with child molestation, i pray everyday that this piece of shit gets what he has coming to him.

DO NOT believe anything that comes out of this assholes mouth let alone trust him with your money.
