The Rich Jerk is a web site at therichjerk.com and it’s one with plenty of attitude, to put it mildly. It’s a very rude site, making no excuses or apologies and promising plenty. After some extensive research it appears to be run by Kelly Felix, who is behind such success stories as CreditPro, Inc. and guesswhatiheard.com It makes sense too, since the site has deep pockets. Launched in August it already has a very high Alexa ranking and the only way to do that is to pour money into paid advertising, and lots of it.

The $97, 40 page Ebook claims to show all the ways he’s made big money and from people who have bought it, it’s not for beginners. Many of the posts I’ve seen mention this isn’t information for someone just starting out, and at 40 pages this isn’t a course or guide that includes complete information on how to start a business online. There are many sincere reviews of the material on the web and usenet newsgroups but with one problem. Virtually all of all the rich jerk reviews have links to buy the book at the bottom through affiliate links. I couldn’t find one review or mention of it without a link to go buy it.

Another problem is their guarantee. It’s a 45 day refund policy but you have to contact them and basically prove you tried their advice and failed at it. This is very vague and if you can’t make your case, you don’t get your money back. To their credit I didn’t find any messages on the newsgroups about someone not getting their money back, nor any posts on web sites to that effect. Keep in mind though, the site, as of this writing, has only been up for two months.

Overall, if Kelly Felix is behind this site as my research indicates (The site is anonymous down to the hidden by proxy domain registration) then it may deliver. Someone with money is behind the site, but this doesn’t appear to be one for someone just starting out. For that there’s marketing courses to get started with much more detailed information on running the business end of things which is needed.

Overall I’d give this ebook a try if you’re already familiar with your Internet business and marketing. It’s probably not one for someone who’s just starting, without any basic knowledge of Internet marketing. I can understand completely the authors wanting to keep anonymous, with the strong language and take no prisoners attitude expressed on the site.
