The Power Profit Team appears to be a multilevel business opportunity where you join under someone for around a thousand dollars, then get people to sign up under you, splitting the money with seven others above you for the first few months. I checked some message boards of people asking is this was a scam or pyramid scheme, only to see a dozen posts all saying no it’s a great company and no a pyramid, and each and every one of them poster their sign up/affiliate URL to sign up under them (sigh). I tried to get to the Power Profit Team web site and it did not respond.

After doing some more web searches for Power Profit Team I found a lot of alarming pitches listed on web sites. All of them were “make $10,000 a week!”, “make $100k in your first month” and so on. This is a red flag that made me smell a fish. This type of thing makes me become very skeptical.

Searching the newsgroups for Power Profit Team yielded an ocean of spam complaints, which is typical of these kind of programs with a lot of affiliates. In my opinion, these spam complaints are not a very good sign.

Of all the affiliate web sites for Power Profit Team I could not find one mention of a tangible good or anything else you get for the thousand dollars. All you do from there is get more people to join for thousand dollars and you get a small portion of that amount, and so on. They have some Power Profit Team movie they want you to watch, by this time I wasn’t in a mood to see it, as you have to give your email address and personal information to see it, and I can’t imagine what sucker wants to have their email sold as a “double opt in opportunity seeker”.

Overall I don’t like what I see from The Power Profit Team.
