There are a number of people who claim they purchased the list from Realty Trac Inc. only to find that the properties on the list were either no longer available or had already been sold because the list was so out of date. In my opinion, it is better to get these kinds of lists directly from the source, banks, realtors, etc… than a company like RealtyTrac Inc because then you can verify the list is current and accurate.
