Don’t use colors on the text of your ad copy unless you use very dark colors like dark blue, deep purple, or brown. It’s best to just stick with a classic winner like black. That’s why this whole course is written in black. If you think about it, all newspaper articles and magazine articles are written in plain black.
You’ll get better results if you only use colors on things like your “Click Here To Order Now” link, or “Download A Free Demo Here” link. Save colors for any small place on your website where you need to get the readers attention. Those two items are extremely powerful to consider when publishing content.
Also, if you know how to change your computer monitor settings, it’s a good idea to view your website and ad copy the way it might show up on other monitors. Always do this before publishing a web page. Look at your web pages in 640 x 480 and also try 800 x 600. Plus test your site using 1280 x 1024.
Most internet marketers forget to do this and they end up losing sales because their website looks broken to 35% of the people on the internet. Yes, everyone uses different settings on their monitor and that’s why it’s critical that you test all three of them. Test it or plan on losing sales! Hopefully you now understand the art of publishing content on your website a little better.
