Test once, Test twice, and Re-Test

Testing is huge part of marketing and advertising. As I said in the past, I don’t like to pay for 3 or 6 months of the same ad in advance. Because if I have paid for six months of one ad, and my testing shows me that the add is not working well, that means I’m stuck paying for another five months of that same ad that I now know is a failure. So no matter how good of a deal they offer you on multiples months, I strongly advise you to only pay for one month at a time simply because your testing will go so much better.

You must learn to make testing an every day part of running your business and website. you should be testing new headlines, pricing, and bonuses on a regular basis to fine tune them. When you get them all perfectly balanced, you’ll have an excellent conversion rate which means you’ll be making more sales than most of your competitors. If you need any help fine-tuning your pricing, headlines, or bonuses, call me and I’ll help you if you purchased mentoring. And remember, it’s never to late to purchase mentoring. Testing is important to every aspect of internet marketing. When most people first get involved with internet marketing they think there’s a magic pill or just one big secret that will make their website bring in instant results and make them a fortune. They think the key is to just find out that one secret. But that’s a complete myth that you need to get out of your head.

Yes, there are a few methods and techniques that do get much better results than others, but there is no “One Secret Method” or magic pill that’s going to make you a fortune in one day.

All internet marketing experts will agree that success comes through a process of testing, changing things around, writing, re-writing, evaluating, questioning things, taking surveys and re-testing etc. That’s the one secret if you had to come up with one secret. It’s right there in that last two sentences. Don’t forget it!

Each time you test your ad copy, simple logic tells you that you’re closer to having a winner on your hands. Because with each time you see an ad flop and fail, you’ll learn a missing ingredient to your success. You’ll either find out that you need to increase your price, decrease your price, find a better place to advertise, lower the cost of your ads, find ad sources with better prices, present your product in a different way, lower your production costs, find a different market or niche to target, make your website easier to navigate, simplify the ordering process on your website, develop a better pre-sale relationship with customers, etc.

You’ll keep getting better at learning what’s missing in all your ad copy and all your websites as you continue to work on them and compare them to your competitors.
