Intellibiz

Intellibiz operates as a not-for-profit company. I have changed my opinion of Intellibiz because since my original review, I have learned that no one at IntelliBiz even gets paid. Even their web guy donates his time. Further, the people at Intellibiz are not salesmen, seminar speakers or infomercial princes. They are real estate investors. That is how they earn their livings. They help others in need of a true real estate investment education.

The staff at intellibiz acts as mentors to an equitable portion of its clients. They do so using their own resources, and they claim there is never any fee. I believe them. This is how they are able to provide the free, lifetime mentoring you’ll see listed on their intellibiz.com website. How can they afford to offer lifetime mentoring for next to nothing? As detailed in their website, their investor group decided back in ’89 that they needed to “give alittle something back” for all the blessings they have received in their own financial lives. To quote one of the founders of intellibiz “Any teacher worth his salt can tell you, it is a poor teacher who does not learn from his students.” The folks at intellibiz have learned a lot over the years from teaching their students.

During their fifteen years of doing this, intellibiz claims they’ve never had any complaint filed with the BBB. In fact, apparently some of their clients have contacted ePublicEye (Internet Watch org) and have praised their products and services.

The above review was based on information I personally received from Bill Vaughn of IntelliBiz.

Are you kidding me? Have you actually purchased even the download version of the simplistic regurgitation of information available on the intellibiz website?

First of all, they claim to be a Christian organization to lure in the overly trusting Christian population. Just have ONE communication with “Chuck, the administrator” and you will find out first hand that is not the case. (Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.) I will make copies of the email conversation we had available to anyone who doubts this point – including any Attorney General Investigators.

Secondly, they do not offer anything you could not gain for free by a simple trip to the library. They have expanded about 100 pages of generalized information into “600+ pages” by putting about a paragraph of information on each page and calling it a chapter.

Third, as far as their claims at “lifetime mentoring” and “Mentors are unpaid volunteers, and each one mentors hundreds of students.” I hope for their sake that they can verify their claims, but, having worked for the former Attorney General of the State of Washington, I have a feeling that they can’t. I have disputed their charges with VISA. I have filed complaints with the BBB, the Maine Attorney General, and the IRS to review their non-profit status due to potentially fraudulent activity. Fraud is still a felony, even in Maine.

I believe that they do not allow refunds because they know their material is dated, overly simplistic and generalized. To quote “Chuck”: “If we were to accept your warped logic, everyone on the internet could order our materials, download them, then simply ask for a refund – they would literally steal our materials and that would bankrupt ANY business.” Not if the material had any real value. Statistically, the request for refunds on valuable content is less than 3 percent. Are you getting a sense of his derisive attitude and his self-awareness that their material might be crap?

My recommendation: Stay away from this company at all costs because I believe they will rip you off too!

I ordered the material and I received it after 10 days. It was very disappointing.

When I contacted them and asked for refund, I received a response from their administrator, Chuk Hall, and I quote” refunds are not given unless you cancel within 3 days of purchase and return the program unopened” he also said “As stated earlier, and VERY clearly, we NEVER, EVER issue refunds on opened software, or after the 3 day cancellation period, to which you agreed and are legally bound. Neither you, nor the card companies are permitted to make or alter our policies. Only we have that right” he also said and you are going to like this one “Do not bother to respond – all further emails from you are being blocked” can you believe this. WHERE IS THEIR GOLD SEALED 110% SATISFACTION GUARANTEED? Again “BIG LIE” Also please see John Treed’s feed back from 2005 about Intellibiz http://www.johntreed.com/Reedgururating.html#Anchor-Simple-11481 .

Do not believe any responses from them, they are big liars. My advice, go to amazon.com and pick RECENT Real Estate books with excellent references for less than $20.

I have read the two gripes posted here, and they both sound like they are working together – rather fishy. I have had the IntelliBiz course for several years and found it to be thorough, detailed and complete in every way. The mentor assigned to me has always been there for me. I do not do investing as a full-time business, but I am still able to make 6 figures using their program. As for many of the other “claims” in those posts – the course has NO WHITE SPACE – when they say 600 pages, they mean it. The mentoring is free (everyone else charges thousands), and for less than $50 you just can’t go wrong – the mentoring, itself, is worth many times that. Heck, the contract software that comes with the course is worth that! All I can say is these two guys are just “sour grapes” – always ready to blame others for their own shortcomings.
