Geoffrey Bellman

Geoffrey Bellman is the author of “Getting Things Done When You Are Not in Charge” and several other books on business and management. This title concentrates on how to accomplish things in a large company when you’re in a support position or lower to middle management.

While not a book for experienced managers, this is well recommended for anyone in a large company who doesn’t have decision making authority but wants to increase their influence and effectiveness. Geoffrey Bellman is also the author of “The Consultant’s Calling: Bringing Who You Are to What You Do, New and Revised” which concentrates on those considering a career as a business consultant, and “Your Signature Path: Gaining New Perspectives on Life and Work” which addresses personal and business path decisions.

Overall, Geoffrey Bellman’s books are well reviewed on amazon.com though the reviews of “Your Signature Path: Gaining New Perspectives on Life and Work” were mixed. Overall I’d probably recommend “Getting Things Done When You Are Not in Charge” the most for anyone in a support to middle management position at a large company.
