Galaxy Mall Review

Galaxy Mall seems to be a merchant account service company with a directory of classified ads sorted by category. This really isn’t a mall, just a bunch of advertisements in my opinion. You’re much better off with Yahoo for something like this as their sites are reviewed by real people. Searching Google might also be better for relevant content as Galaxy Mall only has a couple of ads in each category.

I just don’t see how Galaxy Mall can be compared to anyone in the search engine category, and it’s much too small to go back to on a regular basis, their content is simply lacking. Even their main page Galaxymall.com only has a login screen for merchants and a couple of links.

I would recommend avoiding all online malls as in the case of Galaxy Mall because it’s unlikely anybody will ever see your ad. In the cases of others where your store is under their domain name, that’s always a bad idea since if you want to get your site hosted, you have no control. For example if you spend a lot of money getting ranked on a search engine for onlinemall.com/yourbusiness then if you want your own domain then you’re going to lose all the search engine ranking for those pages when you move to your new name.

a.. Whether it’s Galaxy Mall or Bubbas Barrel of links, 95% of all search engine traffic goes through the Big 7 search engines and the bottom thousand get the other 5%. It’s not in your best interest to pursue the small ones, it’s just not worth the time to get 5 clicks a year from the little ones like Galaxy Mall.
