American Tax Relief claims they can help to settle your tax debt for a fraction of the debt, stop wage garnishment, stop bank and tax levies as well as property seizures and get rid of penalties and interest and tax liens among other things.

However, the reviews of the service provided by American Tax Relief are not at all glowing. The biggest complaint being that large amounts of money were paid to get the services started, but then when customers tried to call to follow up on their case they were either unable to get through, were hung up on, or if they did get through calls were not returned and the tax issues were not resolved.

I feel this is a company you may want to avoid if for no other reason than the possibility of poor customer service. Dealing with a tricky tax issue is stressful enough without having to suffer through bad customer service.
